Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art. To strengthen the whole body, students work on mental conditioning and physical fitness, ultimately improving overall well-being. Tang Soo Do training is an excellent way to relieve stress.
All Gup (color belt) students warm up together to prepare for a vigorous workout. Training is divided into segments which are designed to teach specific skills: Soo ki (hand techniques) and Jok ki (kick techniques), Hyung (forms), Il soo sik dae ryun (one-step sparring), Ja yu dae ryun (free sparring) and Ho sin sul (self-defense techniques).
Beginners receive separate instruction until enough skills have been learned to join the regular class. Beginners can start at any time.
